The Sylvan Trinity
Soda-Fired Multi-Chambered Vessel
Evoking the quiet strength of a forest grove, The Sylvan Trinity features three hand-sculpted vertical chambers rising from a unified, scalloped base. This piece is soda-fired, a process that invites the atmosphere of the kiln to paint unique, variegated blushes across the ceramic surface. The glaze transitions from a sun-bleached cream at the rim to a deep, mossy celadon, highlighted by dark, vertical iron-streaks that mimic the look of rain-drenched bark.
